A few years ago the Budé company has developed and built a demonstration and testing installation for the fully automatic sorting, inspecting and packaging of products. The Multipacker® concept has been developed as a demonstration and testing installation for the snack industry, but can also be used within other industries where products - without regard to its shape - have to be packed.The Multipacker® has been developed for the alignment and packaging of several kinds of snacks in different box sizes. Depending on the application, the product type and the by the client desired (quality) inspection a 2D or 3D vision system will be used. For the inspection and removing of off-spec product within this concept also a vision system in combination with a single picker – within this concept described as Multipicker® - will be used.
Several features:
- Hygienic design. All components are in accordance with the stringent requirements which are applicable within the food industry.
- Easy to clean. Because of the high degree of protection in combination with the resistance to the mostly used detergents, an effective cleaning of the installation is guaranteed. Besides, the most components used in this installation, are constructed in a way that they can easily be dismantled and / or reached for cleaning purposes.
- Flexible. The installation is able to handle a huge variety of products, as well frozen as to be processed freshly in several packaging processes.
Snacks which for example can be handled by the Multipacker® installation:
- ‘Frikadels’ (a kind of sausage, which is very popular in the Netherlands and Belgium)
- Burgers
- Croquettes
- Mexicano’s / Carrero’s
The demonstration and / or testing installation is ready for use since December 2009. We are offering you the possibility to test several products, but it is also possible to test your own product on the demonstration and / or testing installation.
