Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Budé, you will be involved in the design, programming, and implementation of industrial automation systems that truly make a difference. You don’t just write code; you help build machines.

You will work independently within a compact multidisciplinary project team (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Software Engineering), where communication is direct, decisions are made quickly, and technology is at the heart of everything we do. You actively contribute ideas about functionality, identify potential issues before they become problems, and make adjustments where necessary. Being proactive is not a bonus here; it is the standard.

Your work will be diverse and technically challenging:

• You will develop entirely new control concepts for prototype machines.
• You will develop and install existing installations.
• Standardize software across different variants of machines built in series.
• This is not copy paste engineering, but the development of smart, scalable solutions that prove their value in real world applications.

At Budé, we work with the latest technologies and continuously push the boundaries of what is technically possible. The software you develop always prioritizes ease of operation and maximum uptime, ensuring our machines function reliably and intuitively in every production environment.

From the initial concept to a fully operational machine on the production floor. You design, program, test, commission, and optimize systems, either independently or as part of a team depending on the project size. You are not responsible for just a small piece of the puzzle; you carry genuine technical responsibility.

You will join a flat, informal organization with short communication lines and fast decision making. No endless meetings, just getting things done. You will work alongside a close knit team of passionate engineers who get just as excited about smart solutions, clean code, and high performing technology as you do.

As we operate internationally, you should be willing to travel occasionally for installations or service assignments. The good news is that all our machines are fully built and tested in house. This means international trips are typically short, purpose driven, technically focused, and always conducted under excellent conditions.
